The Fairy Music Farm at Children's Fairyland in Oakland, CA 2006-2008 The Fairy Music Farm is 118 foot long journey of discovery and wonder featuring unique and custom designed interactive musical instruments, a lovely landscaped courtyard, and a series of beautiful murals depicting fairies from diversity of cultures as they work together to nurture and grow a pea plant through the life-affirming power of music. Biliana Stremska (Painter), Daniel Schmidt (Instrument Designer and Builder), Lynne-Rachel Altman (Sculptor and Lead Artist) and Richard Jennings (Composer) developed the concept and built the project. The Fairy Music Farm was commissioned by City of Oakland's Public Art Program in collaboration with Children's Fairyland. The project was funded by Oakland Trust for Clean Water and Safe Parks, Measure DD.
