Biliana Stremska lives and paints in Oakland, California. She grew up in Bulgaria in the 1970’s and still travels there for some time every year. Her solo art exhibits include shows at PII Gallery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the The University of California, Berkeley's College of Environmental Design and Astry Gallery in Bulgaria. She has shown her work at Vorpal Gallery in San Francisco, Jan Baum Gallery in Los Angeles, Fox Gallery at the University of Pennsylvania and other venues. She teaches drawing at the University of San Francisco and Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California.

Her public art experience include the creation of 6'X118' long mural representing native plants and magic fairies for the Fairy Music Farm tunnel project. The work is located at Children's Fairyland, America’s first storybook theme park at the heart of Oakland, California. The project integrates unique musical instruments and was created in collaboration with a composer, sculptor and an instrument maker. She developed few of the characters on the "Light of Knowledge" mural at Lovonya DeJean Middle School in Richmond, California. She also collaborated with Sally Hindman on the "Roma Youth Tile Wall" project leading tile painting workshops for Roma minority elementary school age children. The project is installed in Varna Public Library in Varna, Bulgaria.
